Senior Farmer Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)
Seniors 60+ Get $25 to Spend at the Market…FREE!
How it Works:
If you’re 60 years or older, and meet income requirements, you can receive a booklet of checks worth $25 to spend at your local farmers market. Income requirements change every year. Each booklet contains five, $5 coupons.
Change cannot be given, so plan to use the full $5 coupon. Your friendly farmer is always willing to help you when deciding what produce to buy so that you can make sure to spend the full amount.
For 2022, All Sullivan Catskills Farmers Markets accept Senior FMNP Coupons except the Roscoe Farmers Market.
What You CAN Buy at the Market...
With Your Senior FMNP Coupons: Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs
Where do I get the Coupons?
Coupons are available at the Sullivan County Office for the Aging, the Sullivan Fresh Monticello Farmers Market or at certain Farmers Markets located in Sullivan County on select days.
Visit our events section for a full listing of what markets will have the coupons available on what days.
Smart seniors shop at the farmers market! You’re supporting local farmers, and enjoying fresh – and affordable – Catskills food.
