Grab a handful of Catskills grapes and enjoy!
- Grapes are about 80% water, making them a tasty low calorie snack.
- They are high in fiber and potassium, and a great source of vitamin C
- There are more than 50 varieties of grapes!
Store grapes for up to a week in a plastic bag with small holes in it for ventilation.
- Choose plump and firm grapes that are firmly attached to their stem.
- Wash before using.
- Eat fresh, dry into raisins, or mash up into a jelly or jam!
2 pounds of Brussels sprouts scored and trimmed ♥
1 cup of red grapes, halved ♥
2 bunches of green onions, chopped ♥
4 cloves of garlic, crushed ♥
2 cups of water
¼ cup of olive oil
4 tablespoons of butter
Salt to taste
- Place the Brussels sprouts, water, and salt in a medium saucepan and bring to boil. Boil for about 10 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender but firm.
- Over medium heat in a large saucepan, mix the olive oil, garlic and green onions. Slowly cook and stir for five minutes, until the green onions are soft. Mix in the Brussels sprouts, grapes, and butter. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
